The 4 tenants of Rhode Races mission as a RI Benefit corporation are based on sustainability, health and wellness, charity and community. To that end, Providence Rhode Races is mindful of the event impact on our community and seek to make positive change focused on these tenants. Our goal is to leave the race course in better shape then we found it, while fostering a zero-waste event and supporting and raising funds for charities that support this mission.

The event itself is a celebration of human achievement, goal setting, self-esteem building. We encourage and foster an active lifestyle for ages 80+ runners to the youngest in our sport.

The communities along the race route are incredibly supportive with cheer stations, patience and support of the runners as they complete these incredible feats of athleticism and are welcoming of race visitors.

As we are mindful of our neighbors, roads do remain open throughout the race with minor restrictions. Bold Point Park is closed for the duration of the event with access being restricted at Mauran and Waterfront Dr.

Runners will be on the road during the times below. Please allow yourself a bit of extra time to get to your destination. The local police in each community will assist you in navigating the race route and minimizing your disruption. Please note these times are approximate and based on a rolling road impact.

For a complete course map, please visit our course map page here.

Please cheer on these runners as they complete their endurance events. Thanks!
